Happy New Year!

Christmas vacation was very lovely. We spent most of it with Connor's folks, and a few days down in PA with mine. Connor's house was fun because all of his siblings were home (he's one of 5) and everyone gets along really well. His younger sister got the Wii and so we spent a lot of time playing that. Very fun.

Connor and I cleaned up nicely. We got: a TiVo, a Nintendo DS, a stereo head unit for my car that I can plug my iPod into, a coffee maker, donkey conga and bongoes, and good books. So, pretty much, we now have more entertainment than we have hours to consume it all. TiVo is amazing! We have, like, 20 season passes, including to Newsradio, My So-Called Life, the british The Office, the american The Office, Star Trek: TNG, House, and many more. I seriously don't know when we're going to watch it all, play all our video games, and watch our Netflix movies. I guess we'll have to just never leave the house again.

It's nice to be back in MA. The kittens missed us. We brought them toys, which they were very excited about. They're also extra cuddly to make up for lost time.

Work is more manageable than before break. I'm actually getting prep-time now. Like, LOTS of it! It's only because half the kids are out sick. In a week or two, all the teachers will be out sick and it'll be a different story.

And, finally, I did NOT get sick over vacation at ALL! This has to be a world record. I'm amazed. I get sick every year without fail.


And finally finally, Connor get very drunk on New Years, because it was his "birfday!" And he was really quite hilarious. Next time I see you I'll make fun of him in further detail.
